Whitney Miller is a Colorado native who lives in San Francisco with her husband and a struggling houseplant. When she's not writing she is business process reengineering or traveling, sometimes both at the same time, backward, and in her sleep.

She has an MBA from the Wharton School and an MA in International Studies from the Lauder Institute, at the University of Pennsylvania. Having summited Mt. Kilimanjaro, been chased by the boat police in Venice, and ridden a dolphin under a rainbow--well, two out of three's not bad--her favorite adventures are still the ones that happen on the page.
